Black SEO Analyzer v26.4.16 Release

Smoother sessions: sidebar context menus, scroll memory, and a friendlier first run
v26.4.16 is a UX polish release. No new crawl engines, no algorithm changes - just the Windows GUI feeling less like it’s working against you when you’ve got multiple sessions open and places to be. Small things. They add up.
Settings
Now you right-click a sidebar session and get a context menu with Settings, Rename, Delete just like software has worked for the last thirty years. Less visual noise, no mystery about what that spinning cog does, just the interaction model your muscle memory already knows. Thirty years of right-click muscle memory, finally respected.
Stop losing your place
Per-session scroll position is now persisted. Switch sessions, relaunch the app — when you come back, the list is right where you left it. That sounds boring. It is boring. It’s also the kind of thing that drives you quietly insane over the course of a morning when you’re jumping between three crawls and the UI resets to the top every single time. Nobody files a bug report for it. They just silently resent the software. Fixed.
“No analysis started” wasn’t helpful
The session preview in the sidebar used to show “No analysis started” as its URL placeholder until you ran something. Now it shows the most recently crawled URL. It’s a small change — I’ll say that plainly and not pretend otherwise — but small things accumulate. You glance at the sidebar to orient yourself, you see actual URLs, you don’t have to open anything to remember which session is which. That’s the whole pitch.
Welcome screens are for people who don’t trust their software
The old startup screen was a welcome splash that told you things you already knew if you’d opened the app more than once, and things you couldn’t act on yet if you hadn’t. It’s gone. New sessions now open with a “Type crawl \<url>” banner with one line, tells you exactly how to start, disappears the moment you do. The help command got rewritten to surface the commands people actually use: crawl, list, export, ask — with a pointer to the full reference if you want it. That’s it. The app trusts you to figure things out. Welcome screens are for software that doesn’t.
Dead space in the Settings dialog
The Settings dialog body shrunk from 300 to 215 DLU — matches the tallest category, drops the dead air at the bottom. It just looks right now. That’s the whole note.
