# Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Fiscus Technology, LLC ("we", "us") collects when you use the Black SEO Analyzer website, desktop software, free trial and hosted connector, and what we do with it. ## Who we are

Black SEO Analyzer (bseoa) is made by Fiscus Technology, LLC, a Texas limited liability company. We are responsible for the personal information described here.

## What we collect

**When you visit the website.** Our servers and our network provider, Cloudflare, receive your IP address, browser user agent and the pages you request. If your connection comes from a data center or the Tor network, our bot protection records the IP address, its network (ASN), the user agent and the page, and may show a check that sets a cookie. Some forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which receives your IP address to tell people from bots.

**When you fill in a form.** The free trial form asks for your name, email and, optionally, a phone number. The contact, agency, affiliate, developer and partnership forms ask for your name, email, and, depending on the form, company, phone and message. We keep what you send.

**Emails we send.** Trial and download emails contain a small image that tells us when the email was opened, and download links that tell us which ones you clicked. Follow-up emails about the trial include an unsubscribe link.

**Advertising and attribution.** When you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, we store where you came from (ad click identifiers, campaign tags, landing page and referrer) in a first-party cookie. The website also loads advertising and analytics tags from Google, Meta, Microsoft Bing, LinkedIn and Reddit. See the Cookie Policy for details.

**Your account.** Signing in to the hosted connector, or starting a trial, creates an account identified by your email address. It holds your license keys, your hosted plan and its page budget, and a record of sign-ins and which assistant (for example ChatGPT or Claude) connected.

**Payments.** Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. We never see your card details. Lemon Squeezy sends us your name, email, country, what you bought, the amount, and the status of any subscription or refund.

**The hosted connector.** When an assistant uses the hosted connector on your behalf, we receive the web addresses you ask it to check or crawl, and we store the crawl results (the pages fetched and the SEO issues found) with your account. We also keep a record of each tool call (which tool, when, how long it took, how many pages) and each crawl job (the starting URL, its size and outcome).

**The desktop software and CLI.** When the software checks your license it sends us the license key and the software version. It sends no usage data, analytics or information about the sites you audit. If you turn on AI analysis with your own API key, page content goes directly from your computer to the AI provider you chose (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or DeepSeek), under that provider's terms; it does not pass through us.

## How we use it

- To provide what you asked for: issue trial and license keys, sign you in, run hosted crawls and keep their results, and send the emails you requested.
- To bill and support you, and to keep records our accountants and tax authorities require.
- To protect the service: rate limits, bot protection and abuse prevention.
- To measure and improve our advertising: which ads and campaigns lead to trials and purchases.
- To follow up about your trial, which you can stop with the unsubscribe link.

## Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the services that run the business for us, and with advertising platforms for measurement, as follows:

We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing browsing data and hashed identifiers with advertising platforms may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some US state privacy laws; you can opt out by emailing us, and by blocking the tags as the Cookie Policy describes. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to a buyer if the business is sold.

## How long we keep it

- Hosted crawl results: deleted automatically when a crawl has not been opened for 30 days on a trial, 90 days on a paid plan, or 365 days with extended history, and when the account no longer exists.
- Hosted sign-in tokens: one hour for access tokens and 30 days for refresh tokens. Sign-in links and codes expire after 15 minutes.
- The attribution cookie: 90 days.
- Accounts, license keys, orders and payment records: for as long as you have the account or license, and afterwards as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Form submissions, email records, usage records and security logs: until they are no longer needed or you ask us to delete them, unless we must keep them to resolve a dispute, prevent abuse or meet a legal obligation.

## Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to send you a copy. Email [hello@blackseoanalyzer.com](mailto:hello@blackseoanalyzer.com) from the address on your account. We will answer within 30 days. Deleting your account removes its hosted crawl results; we keep order records the law requires us to keep.

You can stop trial follow-up emails with the unsubscribe link in any of them, and block or delete cookies in your browser.

Depending on where you live (for example in the EEA, the UK, California or another US state with a privacy law), you may also have the right to object to or restrict our use of your information, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on performing our contract with you (accounts, licenses, the hosted service), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, measuring our advertising) and your consent where the law requires it.

## Website owners whose sites are crawled

The hosted crawler identifies itself with a user agent that starts with `BlackSEOAnalyzer-Hosted`, always obeys robots.txt, and does not run JavaScript. To stop it, add `User-agent: BlackSEOAnalyzer-Hosted` and `Disallow: /` to your robots.txt, or ask [hello@blackseoanalyzer.com](mailto:hello@blackseoanalyzer.com) to block your domain. ## Security

Connections to our sites are encrypted. Sign-in tokens and codes are stored as hashes, each hosted account's crawl data is kept in its own database, and access to our servers is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.

## Where it is processed

We are based in the United States, and our servers and most of our service providers are there too. If you use our services from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

## Children

Our products are for businesses and professionals. They are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

## Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
