OnCrawl's log analyzer is solid, but the UI falls apart the second you throw a few million URLs at it. Here's why BSA is what I reach for when the audit gets big, SPA-heavy, and needs to pipe into Python.

## CMS or DIY? Which is better for SEO?

Published on December 19, 2025

If you're wondering whether a CMS or a hand-built site is "better for SEO," the annoying truth is: it usually doesn't matter much. CMSs win early because they ship with sane defaults (sitemaps, canonicals, robots controls) and fewer ways to accidentally light your rankings on fire. DIY can rank just fine too-if you cover the basics and resist the urge to get "creative" with redirects and indexing. Also: I still hand-code my own sites in Python for control, which is either dedication or a hobby in self-inflicted complexity. Probably both.

## What Makes Schema Markup so Valuable

Published on December 19, 2025

Schema markup isn't "feeding the bots." It's you being explicit about what your page is so Google doesn't have to guess-and guess wrong-when it decides how (or if) to show you. In this post, I break down schema as a simple translation layer, why classification beats clever copy, and how a little JSON-LD can keep your product pages from getting treated like blog posts after the next "helpful" redesign.
